Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’m nervous to start therapy?
It’s totally normal to be nervous about starting something new, so give yourself some credit for even considering giving it a try! The free consultation call is designed to talk through some initial nerves you may have, and I would love to hear how I can make the experience more comfortable for you.
In our first session, I’ll share details on what therapy can look like and we’ll collaborate on what approach works best for you. I work from a trauma-informed lens, so sessions will always go at your pace and I am highly attuned to when we need to slow things down or take time to regulate. I’m always open to questions or feedback to make your experience in therapy feel safe and meaningful for you.
Do you see clients for more than just burnout?
Yes, I have training and experience to address a wide range of mental health needs. Check out my Specialities page for more details and schedule a free consultation call if you’d like to see if I can support your needs.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, as of now, I only offer virtual or telehealth sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I only accept private pay at this time. I may be considered “Out of Network” for you and can provide a Superbill you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I recommend you reach out to your insurance provider to learn more about your out of network benefits and reimbursement policy.
What are your fees?
You can find my fees on my Services & Fees page.
What is your cancellation policy?
Payment is due at or before the start of each session. If you have a card on file, it will be billed on the day of your scheduled appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee. If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time and have not contacted me, the appointment will be considered a no-show and will be billed accordingly.
