Burnout Recovery & Nervous System Regulation

Burnout is more than feeling tired. It’s what happens when your nervous system has been asked to operate in survival mode for too long. Many of the people I work with are capable, caring, and high-functioning, yet feel chronically exhausted, wired but depleted, or unable to truly rest without guilt.

In our work together, we focus on helping your nervous system move out of constant urgency and into greater steadiness. Rather than pushing harder or “fixing” yourself, therapy supports your body in relearning how to slow down, restore energy, and respond with more flexibility. We explore the patterns that keep you over-functioning, including perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-override, while building capacity for rest that actually feels safe.

Burnout recovery is not about doing less at all costs. It’s about helping your system find a sustainable rhythm so you can show up for your life with more presence, clarity, and ease.
